VMO (Violent Magic Orchestra) turned Melbourne’s Night Cat into absolute chaos on 4 June, delivering a set that was a visceral assault on the senses from start to finish. Blending black metal, industrial noise and pounding rave beats, the Japanese collective unleashed a relentless barrage of sound, lights and visuals that kept the crowd locked in from the first note. With strobe lights flashing, smoke filling the room and bass rattling every corner of the venue, VMO created an intense and unforgettable experience that felt less like a concert and more like being dropped into the middle of a beautifully controlled sonic meltdown.
